Team

Our team is led by Dr. Matthias Gladt and has comprehensive experience with projects in the field of Java enterprise as well as with building simulations including the design and the implementation of the relevant user interfaces and the backend. Matthias Gladt holds degrees in civil engineering and in business engineering and computer science.

  • 1994-2000: Studies of civil engineering at the Vienna University of Technology
  • 2006-2008: Studies of business engineering and computer science at the Vienna University of Technology (graduation with distinction)
  • 2011-2014: Doctoral thesis about thermal building simulation at the Vienna University of Technology (graduation with distinction)
  • 2000-2014: Several employments at civil engineer offices and software development companies

Philosophy

The most important prerequisite for good results is that people involved like their work. We try to remember this also when pressure is on and projects need to be accomplished soon. We think that it is only possible to be successful with a certain amount of background knowledge and experience. However the best way to come to this knowledge and experience is to have a nice place to work and pleasant surroundings.

Glossary

Programmers:

We think they are often better than their reputation. A programmer’s biggest enemies are fresh air, sunshine and the terrible yelling of songbirds is one of the rumors that we deny decisively. Just like the rumor that programmers are screaming “F1!” instead of “Help!”. We encourage you to create your own picture and would be happy to meet you!

Success:

Oscar Wilde is known to have said, “Discontent is the first step in the progress of a man or nation.” We could add that also a good idea can be at the beginning of a success story. However we know that the origin of a good idea may well be discontent.
